CostaBlancaTransfers.es provides pre-booked private transfer services to and from Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport and destinations across the Costa Blanca region.

2. Service Description

We provide private, pre-booked airport transfer services. All transfers are:

  • Door-to-door
  • Exclusive to the booking party (no shared transport unless explicitly stated)
  • Operated by professional drivers

We do not provide on-demand taxi services without prior reservation.


3. Booking and Confirmation

3.1 Reservation Process

Bookings must be made via our website booking form, email, or approved communication channels.

3.2 Confirmation

A booking is only considered confirmed once:

  • Payment (full or deposit where applicable) has been received, and
  • A written confirmation email has been issued.

Customers are responsible for reviewing booking details carefully and notifying us immediately of any errors.


4. Pricing and Payment

5. Flight Monitoring and Waiting Time

5.1 Flight Delays

We monitor flight arrival times. In the event of delays:

  • Your driver will adjust the pickup time accordingly.
  • No additional charge applies for genuine flight delays within reasonable limits.

5.2 Standard Waiting Time

For airport pickups:

  • Drivers will wait up to 60 minutes after flight landing time.

For non-airport pickups:

  • A waiting period of 15 minutes applies.

Additional waiting time may be charged.


6. Cancellations and Refund Policy

6.1 Customer Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before scheduled pickup: Full refund.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: May be subject to partial refund.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: May be subject to a full charge.
  • No-shows: Non-refundable.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing.

6.2 Company Cancellations

In the rare event we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, force majeure), customers will receive:

  • A full refund, or
  • A suitable alternative transfer where possible.

7. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must:

  • Provide accurate flight and accommodation details
  • Be ready at the agreed pickup location and time
  • Ensure correct number of passengers and luggage declared
  • Use appropriate child seats where legally required (available upon request)

Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges or inability to complete the service.


8. Luggage Policy

Standard luggage allowance per passenger includes:

  • One suitcase
  • One piece of hand luggage

Oversized items such as golf bags, bicycles, or mobility equipment must be declared at booking.

Undeclared excess luggage may result in refusal of transport if vehicle capacity is exceeded.


9. Child Seats and Safety

Child and booster seats are available upon request and must be specified at the time of booking.

Passengers are responsible for ensuring appropriate child restraints are requested in compliance with Spanish traffic regulations.


10. Liability

10.1 Service Liability

We are responsible for delivering the booked transfer service as agreed.

10.2 Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, accidents, road closures, or weather conditions
  • Passenger delays resulting in missed flights due to late readiness
  • Loss or damage to unattended luggage
  • Indirect or consequential losses

All vehicles and drivers operate with legally required insurance coverage.


11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Airport closures
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes or civil disturbances

12. Conduct and Safety

Drivers reserve the right to refuse service if passengers:

  • Display aggressive or abusive behavior
  • Are excessively intoxicated
  • Endanger vehicle safety

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in vehicles.


13. Data Protection and Privacy

Customer information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
